We asked Crystal, the creator of Mobile Home Living to talk about some of the ways she uses Ripl to improve her business.


Why did Mobile Home Living need Ripl?

Social media is Mobile Home Living’s best traffic source, and because of that, I need to post fresh content several times a day. We have over 600 articles to pull content from, which is more difficult than it sounds, especially if you don’t have a large team. Ripl saves the day by allowing me to pull content from the article’s URL automagically, and that’s a huge timesaver.

Not only do I need to keep fresh content flowing, I also need to make sure I’m targeting the right kind of traffic. Mobile Home Living is America’s most popular resource for manufactured home remodeling, decorating, and repair. Therefore, I need every post to quickly show what we are about, and that’s not always easy to do with video. Of course, you can add an opening page to a video, but it’s not always going to be seen on a mobile device, due to loading issues. With a single click on Ripl, I can add a stationary logo in the corner that will be seen throughout the video showing who we are and what we are about.


How did Ripl help?

Ripl has given me a ‘video voice’ that I’ve never had before. The app allows me to create videos quickly and easily, giving me a new mode of communication.

Ripl isn’t just a video making app; it is a complete social media scheduling system as well. It’s an entire social media platform. You can certainly use Ripl to create videos and images, but you can also use it to schedule all your social media content, including plain text statuses, images, and videos. It shows your analytics as well. Think of Ripl as Hootsuite or PromoRepublic on steroids. This app is a true game-changer in social media content production and scheduling.

Key Benefits & Results

My weekly engagements climbed from 257 to 690, after posting just two Ripl videos. My most engaged post for the month is a vintage mobile home Holiday video I created with Ripl. And, thanks to Ripl’s analytics, I can see exactly what is working and what isn’t. I can see who liked my posts and read their comments.


I had no idea Ripl was more than a video making app. I’m patting myself on the back for giving it a try – this app is better than all the other social media platforms I’ve used (and after 7 years of publishing Mobile Home Living I’ve tried them all). It’s also a lot cheaper. Watch out Hootsuite!
